Territory of Russia: The photo project “From the White to the Black Sea” in Kaliningrad

March 25, 2016 in the exhibition building of the World Ocean Museum "Maritime Koenigsberg-Kaliningrad" is opened the photo project "From the White to the Black Sea". The exhibition presents more than 100 photographs taken while traveling along the waterways of Russia: from the Solovetsky Islands to Sevastopol.

Yacht photo expedition combining documentary photographers Liberty.SU started in 2013 and ended in the autumn of 2014. It was attended by 19 photographers from different cities. Along the way they met a lot of people, and the stories, which told the language of photography. In pictures - the daily life and personal history of the modern inhabitants of the banks of the waterway Russia, people of different ages, professions, social strata. Particular emphasis is made on photographers scale hydraulic works, rivers, seas and lakes, on the identity of people of different nationalities and ethnic groups living along the "water ways" of our great country. Photos "tell" how to take care of the water environment and the earth and how to preserve the natural and cultural wealth. The main part of the exhibition consists of works by Oleg Klimov. He collaborates with magazines like "Ogonyok", "Time ", "News", "Komsomolskaya Pravda", «The Times», «Washington Post» and many others.
