Archives of Russia: Russian archive agreed to cooperate with Vatican Secret Archive

The Federal Archival Agency signed a cooperation protocol with the Vatican Secret Archive.

The document was signed by the head of the Vatican State Archive Andrei Artizov and the head of the Vatican Secret Archive, Cardinal Jean-Louis Bruges. As a result of negotiations the parties agreed to develop cooperation about the return visit of the head of the Vatican Secret Archive in Moscow.

The Russian delegation got acquainted with the work of the Vatican Secret Archive and the Vatican Apostolic Library, as well as visited the Vatican Museums.
