Information technology and society: The network of virtual libraries is expanded in the airport Sheremetyevo

The Sheremetyevo International Airport together with the publishing group "Eksmo-AST" and online store e-books LitRes as expanded network of virtual libraries and presented "SVOyu library" for visitors to the business rooms and lounges.

Now visitors of 9 business rooms and lounges for passengers with disabilities "Saturn" (passport E terminal control area) and "Sirius" (1st floor, accessible area Terminal D) can download a QR-code 135 works of modern and classical literature. For the convenience of passengers and visitors to the airport it was implemented an additional opportunity to download books on a specially created website svo.knigavdorogu.ru/. All business lounges and recreation rooms have free WI-FI.

Sheremetyevo airport has become the first in Russia, which opened an e-library. In July 2015, virtual bookshelves with a QR-code are placed in the "sterile" zone after passing through passport control in the C, D terminals, E and F.
