
Information technology and society: The X International forum “Partnership of state, business and civil society to provide International information security” in Germany
In the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany) from 25 to 28 April is held the X Anniversary International Forum "Our government, business and civil society in ensuring international information security", organized by the Moscow State University of the Moscow State Institute for Information Security Issues in cooperation with the Council of the device security of the Russian Federation. Jubilee Forum brought together more than 100 scientists and experts from 13 countries in the world.
Forum participants form common approaches and positions of the expert community on topical issues of international information security. Among the main topics of the forum - the preparation of proposals in the draft Code of responsible behavior of states in the information space, the interpretation of the basic concepts, principles and norms of the Geneva Conventions applied to cyberspace, the development of mechanisms and instruments of public-private partnership in the field of information security-critical facilities, the development of countermeasures to Internet recruiting and online propaganda of extremism and terrorism, the non-proliferation discussion of the problems of cyber weapons and the reduce of the risk of using it.
