
History and culture: The exhibition “Leo Tolstoy and the Spanish-speaking World” in Moscow
The Leo Tolstoy State Museum (Moscow) from 26 April 2016 invites to the exhibition "Leo Tolstoy and the Spanish-speaking world" in the Tolstoy center on Pyatnitskaya-12.
The exhibition presents a letter to Leo Tolstoy from Spain, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru, Chile, Uruguay and other countries of the Hispanic world.
From 1890 to 1910 Leo Tolstoy received five or six letters of the Spanish-speaking countries. Journalists, housewives, doctors, students and historians sent their letters to Yasnaya Polyana. To our days it has been survived nearly ten thousand letters to Leo Tolstoy from people from other countries. Including the order of hundreds of letters from Spanish letters and one hundred and fifty - from Latin America.
