
History of Russia: The photo exhibition “History starts with the news” to the 75th anniversary of the creation of Sovinformburo in Moscow
The photo exhibition "The story starts with the news" dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Soviet Information Bureau, was opened in the International multimedia press-center "Russia Today", the exhibition includes 30 of the best photos of each of the periods agency: from the Soviet Information Bureau to the present day.
"We with great difficulty implemented the selection of photos. On the one hand, we have tried to show photos from our archives that have not been seen. On the other hand, one cannot ignore the iconic photo, without which it is impossible to imagine the history of photography. For example, "Victory Banner over the Reichstag" - a symbol of the victory over Nazi Germany", - said the head of the Directorate of Visual Projects of the united direction of the photo information Oksana Oliynyk.
She said that on each of the four eras of existence of the news agency it was allocated by 7/8 of photographs that, she said, is very small for such a large period of time. "We are also ready to release album in which each era will separated with a volume", - she said.
This 2016 year is held in "Russia today" under the sign of the anniversary of the founder of an entire galaxy of major domestic information resources over the years to represent the country in the international information field - the legendary Soviet Information Bureau will celebrate its 75th anniversary. In honor of the anniversary on the flagship site MIA "Russia today» ria.ru was opened a historical section dedicated to the history of contemporary international journalism - from the Soviet Information Bureau through APN and RIA News, "Russia Today".
