Society and culture: International Pushkin Festival in Brest

From 16 to 20 May 2016 the Russian Center, the Department of Theory and History of Russian literature of the A. S. Pushkin Brest State University in conjunction with the Department of Education of the Brest Regional Executive Committee conducts the VI International Festival of Pushkin "My friends, our beautiful union…".

The participants of the festival in Brest are teachers, students, teachers, and students from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Poland and other countries - more than 700 people.

Within the festival will be held competition of readers "We are to Pushkin's lines, that by spring, hurry…", open stage competition "In a pavilion of my scenes young days flew…", a poster competition on the theme of Pushkin and essay contest "Unknown well-known Pushkin". Various workshops are also scheduled.
