History and culture: Stamps depicting weapons of the First World War in Russia

Four stamps with the image of the weapons of the First World War era emerged in the post-treatment in a series of "History of the First World War".

Images of battleship "Empress Catherine the Great" and seaplanes M-5, constructed by Dmitry Grigorovich in 1915, as well as other kinds of weapons of the First World War period, appeared on Russian stamps. They are depicted in the background of the military historical subjects.

Stamp sized 50х37 mm edition are published by 308 thousand copies each and will be available in nationwide department of "Mail of Russia".
