Memory of Russia: Monument to Sergius of Radonezh was erected near the Ryazan Kremlin

In the Cathedral Park of the Ryazan Kremlin was inaugurated a monument to St. Sergius of Radonezh.

Sculpture about 3.5 meters high, is made of white marble and designed in the framework of the project "Alley of Russian Glory" with the support of the Russian military-historical society.

The monument was erected in memory of the historic council of the saint in November 1386 with the Grand Duke Oleg of Ryazan, which played an important role in strengthening the centralized state.
