World History and Culture: Photo exhibition "The ASEAN countries. View from Russia" in the Alexander Garden in St. Petersburg
August 26, 2016 in the Alexander Garden in St. Petersburg is opened a photo exhibition by Sergei Kovalchuk "ASEAN countries. View from Russia".
This is the first and only in Russia large-scale photo exhibition reflecting the life and culture of the ten countries of South-East Asia, the modern realities of the South-East region, its official tourist spots and corners, to which is not so easy to reach not only foreigners but also the natives. Visitors will be able to see a real colorful kaleidoscope assembled from photos of natural attractions, diverse architecture of Asian cities, religious buildings, portraits of people, made by the author over the past 10 years, at a time when the country is actively developed and transformed their poor exotic states "East Asian tigers".
The exposition features more than 90 photographs, most of which are printed in large format, the size of 2x3 meters. The exhibition is supplemented with audio guide - in each photograph placed QR-code at the comment.
Photo project "The ASEAN countries. View from Russia" was prepared and first shown at the time of the anniversary summit of ASEAN - Russia on 19-20 May 2016 in Sochi.
