Memory of Russia: The exhibition to the 73d anniversary of the defeat of German forces in the Battle of Kursk was opened in Ingushetia

In the library of an urban settlement Sunzha (administrative center in Ingushetia) was opened the book-illustrative exhibition "The Battle of Kursk", dedicated to the glorious and tragic date in the country's history - Day of the defeat of the Soviet troops of the German forces in the Battle of Kursk on 23 August 1943.

The exhibition includes rare books, publications in the press, telling about the Great Patriotic War and one of the most heroic pages of it - the Battle of Kursk.

Visitors can see unique materials, covering not only the events of the Battle of Kursk, but the entire history of the Great Patriotic War, the participation of Ingush soldiers and members of other peoples of the Caucasus.

The main stages of the battle with the chronological description of its most important events are included in the information note prepared by the specialists of the local history library.
