Within the project Google Arts&Culture are digitized and posted in open access of 50 works from the collection of the Institute of Russian realist art.

Now Internet users can see all the details of the images because of gigapixel photography. Among the published - "Corner of the house. Winter" by Igor Grabar, "Athlete, tying a tape" by Alexander Deineka, "Winter Village" by Nikolai Krymov, "Creation of the World" by Yuri Pimenov, "Still Life. Pisces" by Andrei Vasnetsov and other artists' works.

The Institute of Russian realist art joined the project, which involved more than a thousand leading museums in 2013. The website has already taken 300 pictures from the Institute collection, which plans to continue our collaboration with Google Cultural Institute, so that soon it will be able to see even more works from the collection of IRRI from anywhere in the world.

Currently, the Institute of Russian realistic art is closed for a massive overexposure in preparation for the fifth anniversary of the opening. In late September - early October, visitors can see a newly organized permanent exhibition: it will include new works, and those that were previously in the vaults. There will be also held a lecture with a variety of educational programs.
