
Russian regions: The exhibition “Walking around the Crimea” in Saint-Petersburg
In the New building of the National Library of Russia (St. Petersburg) was opened the exhibition "Walking around the Crimea" Russia.
The exhibition presents the most interesting publications of NLR funds dedicated to the Crimean peninsula. The first part of the exhibition "Journey in Time" introduces the rich history of the Crimea, myths and legends, dedicated to Russian Riviera, colorful historical characters, which wrote their names in the history of the region.
Books, united in the "literary walk" section will provide an opportunity to look at the eyes of Crimea by Vasily Zhukovsky, Alexander Pushkin, Maximilian Voloshin, Marina Tsvetaeva… a special place in the exposition belongs to literary publications devoted to the Crimean period in the works of great Russian writers.
The section "Tours" invites you to get acquainted with the most famous natural and cultural monuments and historical sights of the Crimea. Here are the most detailed travel guides and guidebooks.
