Book publishing and book distribution: Russian stand is presented within the framework f the XI International Book Fair in Ashgabat

Russian stand was opened within the framework of the XI International Book Fair, which takes place on 21-23 September 2016 in Ashgabat. It is considered the largest in the Central Asian region. From Russia to the capital of Turkmenistan were arrived about forty publishing houses, bookstores and other organizations.

Most of the Russian programs are devoted to the conducted in our country the Year of Cinema. In particular, it will be open an exhibition telling about the cult Soviet film "White Sun of the Desert". Some of its scenes were filmed on the territory of Turkmenistan. The history will be told by the representative of the Cinema Museum Marina Shramenko.

Jubilee of the first flight into space will be the lecture topic. The audience learns about what books, devoted to the subject of history of space exploration, come in recent years in Russia.

One of the highlights of the exhibition will be a scientific and practical conference "The book - the path of cooperation and progress". Representatives of the Russian publishing houses will also take part in a seminar on copyright.

By tradition, after the end of the exhibition, all the Russian books will be handed over to the Turkmen State Publishing Service.
