Peoples of Russia: The exhibition “Multinational Altai” in Barnaul within the Days of National Cultures

September 8, 2016 in the V. Y. Shishkov Altai Regional Library (Barnaul) was launched a large-scale book-reading campaign "About the peoples and cultures of the Altai". It offers a series of national culture days and the complex of interesting thematic exhibitions.

The campaign begins the work with the opening of the exhibition "Multinational Altai": public promise to introduce an interesting selection of 416 titles, including ethnographic studies and monographs, materials of scientific conferences, encyclopedias, dictionaries and reference books, photo albums and folk art collections. The exhibition will run until 20 October.

Within six weeks, on Thursdays in the library will be held Days of National Cultures within which will be presented way of life, culture and history of six diasporas, representatives of which live in the Altai Territory.
