Russian culture abroad: FEELRUSSIA Russian Culture Festival in Madrid

Russian Culture Festival FEELRUSSIA is held on 3 and 4 September 2016, the center of Madrid on the Plaza Mayor square. The purpose of the festival - carefully preserving tradition, to show the rich culture of the peoples of Russia in all its diversity, to tell about the original folklore collectives of the country, to demonstrate to the public the best examples of musical, choreographic, artistic, theatrical art and cinema.

On the main stage of the festival will perform opera singers of the Mariinsky Theatre, ensembles of folk music and folk dance, creative teams, performing compositions of various styles and directions. The festival program: screenings of the Russian game and animated film, exhibitions, workshops, interactive performance for children.

This year FEELRUSSIA Russian Culture Festival was held with great success in the largest city of Kazakhstan - Almaty, in the Austrian capital Vienna, the capital of Bavaria, Munich. It was attended by more than 60 000 people. Then the baton will be accepted by Tallinn, Bologna and Athens.

FEELRUSSIA Festival will be one of the most important cultural events of the year in each country and will expand the boundaries of international humanitarian cooperation between Russia and the countries hosting festival.
