The I. S. S. Turgenev lived" "was recognized intact monument of nature, gardens and parks".
To the anniversary of the museum is timed the opening of the exhibition "Museum: a portrait on the background of the epoch", devoted to the history of the Museum-Reserve.
Visitors are presented more than 100 photographs and documents from the museum-reserve fund, which captured not only the major milestones of the museum of history, but also its daily life - restoration of the manor buildings and reconstruction work in Turgenev's Park, the opening of new expositions and exhibitions, guided tours and conferences, nationwide Turgenev’s holidays and expeditions to places of Turgenev and of course, the memory of the people, without which it is impossible to imagine the history of formation of the reserve for which the revival of the Saviour-Lutovinova was the main thing in life.
The main stages in the development of the museum reflect not only documents, but also books about the museum - from the first guides to the fundamental scientific publications recently.
