
The Presidential Library: New acquisitions
The Presidential Library collection has been enriched with materials from the collection of the Russian State Historical Archives, the State Public Historical Library, the Presidential Library, as well as the private collection.
Two books by A. P. Belkovsky First tsar of the Romanov dynasty Mikhail Feodorovich (M., 1913) and the Election of the first tsar to the throne of the house of Romanovs Mikhail Fedorovich (Moscow, 1913) is devoted to a turning point in the history of Russia in the late XVI - early XVII centuries. The proclamation of the new tsar, not only marked the beginning of the dynasty, which replaced on the scene of Rurik, but also summed up the Troubles, severe internal and external crisis, plagued by Russia in the early XVII century.
Images of Emperor Nicholas I are presented in two photocopies with lithographs from the collection of V. Ya von der Fleet to: Nicholas I in a coach in October 1835; Nicholas I in a coach in October 1835 at the parade.
Publication of a diplomat, orientalist, journalist, poet and translator of Prince E. E. Ukhtomsky "Journey to the East of His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince: 1890-1891" is dedicated to three hundred days (from October 23, 1890 to August 4, 1891) visit of the Grand Duke Nikolai Alexandrovich (the future Emperor Nicholas II) of Greece, Egypt, India, China, Japan and Siberia. The portal offers the following volume publication: Volume 1, Part 1: [On the East] (St. Petersburg, 1893.), V. 2, Part 3: [At noon countries] (St. Petersburg, 1894), V. 2, Part 4: [Great ocean] (St/ Petersburg, 1895), V. 3, Part 6: [In Siberia] (St. Petersburg, 1897).
Book by art critic and culture expert M. N. Kolotilo Alphabet "Alkonost" (St. Petersburg, 2015) tells about the phenomenon of the literary life of Petrograd, the first post-revolutionary years - "Alkonost" publishing house (1918-1923). The book presents the various aspects of "Alkonost" Informal Arts Council which involved Alexander Blok, Andrei Bely and Vyacheslav Ivanov.
The book by V. D. Dotsenko Chief Engineer Gregory M. Kolotilo (to the 75th anniversary) (St. Petersburg 2003) describes the life and work of a sailor G. M. Kolotilo. There is the information about the parents, relatives, friends, and materials placed his pedigree.
Book of a war correspondent - a veteran of ITAR-TASS, the Holders Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" Alexander Kharchenko Let us not meet at the war (Tver, 2015) contains reporter’s stories based on real events, and poems written in different years the author of the "war trips."
