Society and Culture: Scientific-practical conference "Abramtsev readings-2016" in Moscow region

The State Museum-Reserve "Abramtsevo" on October 13-14, 2016 at the Cultural Center "Elizabeth Mamontova" (the Moscow region) holds the Scientific and practical conference "Abramtsev readings-2016". The conference topic: "S. I. Mamontov in the context of the historical and cultural life of Russia in the late XIX - early XX centuries" was not chosen by chance, since October 15, 2016 marks 175 years since the birth of the founder of the Abramtsevo Art Circle, a prominent businessman and patron Savva Ivanovich Mamontov.

The conference is attended by museums and researchers, art historians, ethnographers, historians, as well as representatives of the professions and areas of activity in which manifested versatile talents of Savva Ivanovich Mamontov.
