Museums and Society: The Annual Scientific Conference "Museum in the cultural space of the historic city" in Uglich

The annual scientific conference "Museum in the cultural space of the historic city" is held on 17-18 November 2016 in the Uglich Historical-Architectural and Art Museum (the Yaroslavl region). The conference is attended by scientists and researchers from several regions of the country.

Traditionally, the reports on the history and culture of the Uglich region, as well as research collections will be performed by research staff of the Uglich museum. The conference will cover a number of topical issues of museum activity regarding acquisition of assets, the exposure operation, conservation, restoration, study of museum collections. The researchers will share their experiences, exchange views with colleagues from the central and regional museums and science centers.
