Exhibitions: Exhibition of old Christmas-tree decorations and postcards "And the New Year holiday, and the Christmas holiday" in Crimea

The Literary and Art Museum of the Old Crimea until January 15, 2016 hosts an exhibition of old Christmas-tree decorations and postcards "And the New Year holiday, and the Christmas". The exhibition presents Christmas pre-revolutionary postcards, Christmas postcards of 50-60s of XX century, as well as Christmas decorations of 40-60s of XX century from the collections of the museum.

The guests of the museum will learn about the origin of the tradition to congratulate family and friends with Happy New Year postcards of prototypes of domestic Christmas postcards, about the origins of the custom of decorating the Christmas tree toys.
