The Presidential Library: New acquisitions

The Presidential Library collection National Periodicals has been enriched with a new title - the magazine "Samara Bend".

Historical-regional and literary-artistic publication Samara Bend is released since 1997 in Samara. To cooperate the Journal attracts leading experts of various directions, university professors, members of the creative unions and various denominations.

On the pages of the magazine are printed materials on the history and current state of the Samara region. Their aim is to preserve the historical and cultural heritage of the region, the return of the lost values ​​of the past, restoring the connection between generations, spiritual, moral and patriotic education, promoting the development of civil society.

The main headings: "History", "Regional studies", "Architecture", "Memory", "Art", "Religion", "Education", "Poetry", "Music", "Theatre", "Nature", "Our Contemporary", "Voice of the youth", "Literature".

To date the Presidential Library website is available private issues for 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014.

In the presented issues are reflected the following topics: cultural and historical heritage of Samara, a modern cultural life of the city, Samara in the eyes of young citizens, well-known figures of the city, Pushkin and the Samara region, the Patriotic War of 1812 and the participation of the Samara residents, Samara - the cradle of the space industry and others.
