Society and youth: For the World Youth Festival in Sochi will be attracted foreign compatriots

Russia draw in the preparation and holding of the XIX World Festival of Youth and Students young compatriots living abroad. This was stated by chairman of the National Preparatory Committee Grigory Petushkov during the meeting of the Interagency Council on Youth Affairs under the Government Commission on the Affairs of Compatriots Abroad.

Work with young compatriots will be organized in three main areas. They have to help in the recruitment of foreign participants, accompanied by the foreign delegations, and in the framework of the festival will be able to organize a platform on which they will tell and show Russia "with their own eyes".

World Festival of Youth and Students is a wonderful opportunity to bring together existing approaches to working with young compatriots living abroad, and give them consistency, says Gregory Petushkov.

The XIX World Festival of Youth and Students will be the largest international event in the field of youth cooperation. Start the festival will be given by the  Moscow international parade of students October 14, 2017, which will take part in the heads of international delegations. The event will be held on 14-22 October 2017 in Sochi. Participants will be about 20 thousand young people from more than 150 countries of the five continents of the Earth.
