The electronic library "Pskoviana" presents materials for the 100th anniversary of the abdication of Nicholas II, telling about the events that took place in Pskov in 1917.
The project "Pskov Fridays" has prepared two videos on the book of the historian, the rector of the Pskov Pedagogical Institute Petr Nikolaev "Historical drama in Pskov. March 1917". The "Wandering train" and "Fatal Telegrams" remind us of movements, conversations, telegrams and people whose advice was the last argument in favor of the abdication of the last Russian Tsar.
Biographical article "Nicholas II" in the section "Persons" in its most part is devoted to the stay of Nicholas II on the Pskov land. The first official visit of the emperor took place in August 1903, and on this trip he was accompanied by the Empress and some members of the royal family.
