Memory of the World: The exhibition "My War" dedicated to participants and veterans of the wars of the XX century in St. Petersburg

The exhibition "My War" was opened at the Military-Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineer and Signal Corps (Saint-Petersburg).

The exhibition is an original art-documentary project dedicated to participants and veterans of the wars of the XX century. Particular emphasis is placed on the wars of the second half of the century - Vietnam, Angola, Ethiopia, Libya, Afghanistan, etc.

By implementing this project there were involved the veterans, the actual participants in the fighting, which acted as artists, writers and poets.

The basis of the exhibition is paintings on military theme, made in the traditional and mixed media with high relief and collage, as well as graphic works.

The exposition, according to the curators, must be multi-faceted, so the exhibits have become objects of ammunition and equipment, including the trophy. Some of the exhibits are available to the public and veterans' organizations.

A certain semantic field of the exhibition form presented texts - poems, memories, comments, photos and paintings.
