28 February 2017

The Museum of Contemporary Art "Garage" (Moscow) has launched a web platform dedicated to the Triennial of Russian contemporary art. Web platform Triennial is conceived as a permanent and replenishable resource that represents date information on Russian artists and local art-scenes, on which the work will be continued after the end of the exhibition. It will also provide information on the progress and results of the Curatorial Studies. The website will be updated regularly, which in the future will transform it into a major resource of the Russian contemporary art in Russian and English languages.

The first Triennial of Russian contemporary art will be held from 10 March to 14 May 2017 and will bring together the work of over 60 artists from all over Russia and is dedicated to the "spirit of the times" and the understanding of social trends shaping insufficiently studied to date, the regional art scene.

The exposition, which will be unveiled at the Museum "Garage" and the Gorky Park, will include both works created specifically for the Triennial and the works made by artists.
