The peoples of Russia: Exhibition of costumes of peoples of Russia was opened in Tyumen

Until March 19, 2017 at the Museum-Estate of Kolokolnikovs (Tyumen is presented an exhibition of costumes of the peoples of Russia from a private collection "They look at people from head to toe" (Tobolsk).

Folk costumes of the Russian Empire were different and were formed depending on the climate features, philosophy and kind of human activity. At the exhibition, the townspeople clothes complete sets of clothing of rural residents of different provinces of the Russian Empire in the late XIX - early XX centuries, various elements of traditional Russian clothing of nations.

The organizers of the exhibition were focused mainly on subjects that create a complete image and accents - hats, shoes, belts, jewelry (earrings, lady's neck and chest cloth decorations and etc.).
