Museums of Russia abroad: Paintings from the collection of the Hermitage are presented in Tokyo

In the center of Tokyo in the Mori Art Museum with the assistance of the Embassy of Russia and Rossotrudnichestvo an exhibition of works from the collection of the State Hermitage on the theme "Old Masters" was opened. The exposition is dedicated to the works of artists of the XVI-XVIII centuries: Titian, Cranach, Rubens, Rembrandt, Fragonard and other great European masters from the Hermitage collection, which foundation was laid by Empress Catherine II.

In Tokyo, the exhibition will run till June 18, and then will move to the Art Museum of Aichi Prefecture (Nagoya) and further to the Art Museum of Hyogo Prefecture (Kobe).
