History and Culture: The exhibition "Paustovsky about the war. Works of 1942" in Crimea
Express-exhibition "Paustovsky about the war. Works of 1942", dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, is opened in the K. G. Paustovsky House Museum in the Old Crimea on June 22, 2017.
K. G. Paustovsky, like many of his fellow writers, went to war as a military correspondent. And, although for his health he was very soon dismissed, he managed to see and understand all the horrors and hardships of the war, as he later wrote in his works. A large series of stories was written by Paustovsky in 1942. His writings provided moral support and support to compatriots at the front and rear.
The exhibition presents books with works by K. G. Paustovsky written in 1942, quotations about the war and the strength of the spirit of the Soviet people, photographs from the museum's funds. The exhibition will run till July 31, 2017.
