Society and Mass Media: The exhibition "From the Pskov Nabat" to the "Pskov Pravda" to the 100th anniversary of the newspaper

June 23, 2017 in the foyer of the second floor of the Main Building of the Pskov Museum-Reserve, an exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Pskov Pravda newspaper, was held.

The regional newspaper "Pskov Pravda" is a weekly covering various aspects of the life of the region.

In the windows you can see the printed editions of the “Pskov Nabat” and the “Pskov Collective Farmer” of 1920-1930, photographs, personal belongings of employees of different years.

Thus, for example, in one of the showcases there are objects belonging to the artist of the publications "Pskov Nabat" and "Pskov collective farmer" G. A. Alekseev-Gai: the account book of the employee of the editorial office, the identity of the newspaper employee, the breastplate of the Academy of Arts of Leningrad, and one of his paintings.

Visitors of the exhibition can see personal belongings of the editors-in-chief of the “Pskov Pravda” of the Soviet era: G. G. Larionov (1949-1961), V. V. Khmylko (1970-1972).

The third showcase presents evidence of the editorial successes in the XXI century.

The exhibition will run till July 23, 2017.
