Memory of Russia: The reconstruction of the revolutionary events of 1917 will take place in the Leningrad region

The historical reconstruction of the revolutionary events of 1917 will take place in September in the Ivangorod Fortress in the Leningrad region within the framework of the project "Western Frontiers of Russia".

Lesia Kolesnikova, Director of the Museum Agency of the Leningrad region, noted that the Ivangorod Fortress gives great opportunities for the event. "Here for many years various events have been held, in 2015 there was a magnificent experience of holding a festival of historical reconstruction dedicated to the First World War, and this year we set ourselves a truly ambitious task", she said.

The cycle "Western Frontiers of Russia" will be started with the festival "Staraya Ladoga", which will be held in the region on the third weekend of July.
