Culture and Authority: The Ministry of Culture of Russia took part in an international exhibition in Shanghai dedicated to the preservation of cultural heritage

The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation took part in the international exhibition Heritage Preservation International in Shanghai, devoted to the preservation of cultural heritage and held in Shanghai.

To represent the Russian restoration school at the stand of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the project "Meletovo. Decision Time" prepared by the restoration center named after academician I. E. Grabar in cooperation with the Interregional Scientific Restoration Art Department (MNRKhU) and the Union of Restorers of Russia. The project was demonstrated in Moscow earlier

Within the framework of the exhibition, Russian specialists conducted master classes on copying frescos, acquainting colleagues from other countries with a unique methodology, thanks to which for future generations the idea of fresco complexes, including those that are on the verge of extinction, is preserved.

The Heritage Preservation International in Shanghai was held from 10 to 12 August 2017 at the Shanghai Exhibition Center.
