Internet and society: The digitized manuscript of Leonardo da Vinci "Codex of Arundel" is available online

The British library posted for free access the digitized manuscript "Codex of Arundel" by Leonardo da Vinci. Now anyone can try to decipher the famous handwriting of Leonardo.

The manuscript consists of notes written by Da Vinci between 1480 and 1518. The collection was named after the earl of Arundel, who acquired it in Spain in the middle of the XVII century.

The manuscript included tracts of various subjects, including mechanics, optics, as well as architectural studies. Da Vinci himself called these notes "a collection without order consisting of many pages".
