Art exhibition at Reserve Centre of Presidential Library dedicated to history of Russia
On 7 November 2025 at 16:00, the Reserve Centre of the Presidential Library in Moscow (4 Slavyanskaya Square, Building 1) will host the opening of the exhibition "Heroes of the Fatherland in the Historical Paintings of V. V. Matorin". The event is timed to coincide with two Russian public holidays: National Unity Day on 4 November and Heroes of the Fatherland Day on 9 December.

Presidential Library dedicated to National Unity Day
November 4, 2025, is National Unity Day in Russia. This public holiday was established 20 years ago, in 2005, after the State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted amendments to the Federal Law "On Days of Military Glory (Victory Days) of Russia."
Presidential Library's Projects marks October Revolution of 1917
On 7 November (25 October) 1917, the revolutionary events culminated in the overthrow of the Provisional Government and the Bolsheviks' rise to power. A new stage in Russian history began. Although according to the old Julian calendar the revolution took place in October 1917, and the Gregorian calendar was introduced in Russia in February 1918, the name of the revolution remained the same – the October Revolution.
Presidential Library invites to watch film "Poems of Victory"
In the Year of the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland, the Presidential Library invites you to watch the film "Poems of Victory," produced in collaboration with the Eurasian Library Assembly (ELA). It is available on the Presidential Library's Rutub channel and can be viewed from anywhere in the world.

New collection presented at Presidential Library to mark National Unity Day
On 1 November 2025, an educational event dedicated to National Unity Day was held at the Presidential Library. This holiday is celebrated annually in our country on 4 November. It is a significant date in Russian national history. On this day in 1612, a decisive victory was won over foreign invaders, which led to the liberation of Moscow.
