Frontline lyrics presented at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Chisinau

"Gunpowder smelling lines". This is the name of one of the lectures prepared by the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Chisinau on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.

The speech of the curator of educational projects of the RCSC Victor Kostetsky was dedicated to the life and work of the famous poet Sergei Orlov, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, who went through fierce battles. The memory of the past and the memories of the deceased comrades became the main topic in the lyrics of Orlov after the end of the war.

The Presidential Library’s portal provides materials of the large-scale electronic collection “Memory of the Great Victory”, which includes official documents, photo and newsreels, wartime newspapers, books, campaign propaganda editions, testimonies of participants in military battles and rear workers, their personal documents and more.

Only part of the materials from the electronic repository fund is publicly available on the library’s portal. The library’s information resources are available at the remote access centers in 30 countries of the world. One of them has been opened at the RCSC in Chisinau since 2012.
