
Field meetings with representatives of the Presidential Library’s remote access centers held in Bashkortostan
Specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Akhmet-Zaki Validi National Library of Republic of Bashkortostan continued a series of field meetings with representatives of the remote access centers of the Presidential Library. The main goal is to provide methodological and consulting assistance to specialists.
This time the meetings were held in Aurgazinsky, Baltachevsky, Karmaskalinsky, Tatyshlinsky, Chekmagushevsky and Sharansky districts of Republic of Bashkortostan. The participants discussed the forms of popularization of the Presidential Library's collections and the use of its materials in the preparation of various thematic events.
It was also about the participation of representatives of the remote access centers in cultural and educational projects of the Presidential Library. Issues of interaction with educational institutions and involving students in dealing with the electronic resources of the library were spotlighted.
According to the organizers, by the end of this year, all seventy remote access centers opened in Republic of Bashkortostan will be covered by methodological and consulting assistance from employees of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library.
The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Republic of Bashkortostan: Pages of History. It includes studies, essays, archival documents, statistical, cartographic and audiovisual materials that spotlight various aspects of the development of the region in the 18th-21st centuries.
