
Teachers and librarians of schools in Sverdlovsk region trained to work with resources of Presidential Library
Specialists from the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based at the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library, have conducted a series of training sessions for teachers and librarians from regional schools.
On August 26, 2024, as part of the August meeting of educational professionals in the Sverdlovsk region, a presentation was made on the topic of Organizing research activities for students using the resources of the Presidential Library.
On October 18, 2024, a webinar titled Olympiad at the Presidential Library: Methodological Recommendations was held, thanks to which an unprecedented number of children from the Sverdlovsk region participated in the first round of the Russia in the Electronic World Olympiad, with most of them advancing to the next round.
On December 9th, 2024, the Institute for Educational Development of the Sverdlovsk Region hosted a seminar on The System of Working with the Resources of the Presidential Library for Remote Access Centers in Educational Organizations in their coworking space. The event focused on the rules of using the electronic reading room and the Presidential Library's portal to search for materials, as well as promoting the library's resources through social media.
Specialists from the Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library discussed these topics, with a particular emphasis on promoting the library's collection through social media channels. The event was part of a cooperation agreement between the institute and the Sverdlovsk Universal Scientific Library, and organizers hope to continue this collaboration in the future.
The collection Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History is available on the Presidential Library's portal. This collection includes statistical materials, research papers, essays, and photographs from the 19th and early 20th centuries that highlight various aspects of the region's development.
