The publication is a part of the Piszova Book of 1629 in Vyatka province. It contains the description of Sloboda Uezd, Shestakov city and Shestakovsky district. The description of Slobodsky was published earlier (Proceedings of the VUAK, 1907. Issue 1.) and this edition was not included. This book is a valuable source for studying the local land, the economy and everyday life of the population, the forms and sizes of duties, toponymy, onomastics, etc. First published in the Proceedings of the Vyatka Scientific Archive Commission (1916. Issue 3-4) on a copy of the original from the Moscow Archives of the Ministry of Justice, and the year of publication - 1916 - is erroneously indicated on the title of the book.
