In the year of the 1150th anniversary of the birth of Russian statehood, a joint project of the Russian National Library, the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library and the Public Foundation "Russian National Glory Center" was implemented to digitize and provide an electronic copy of the Laurentian Chronicle. The film highlights the stages of preparation and implementation of the project for the digitization of the manuscript. Included are fragments of the conversation with Yakunin Vladimir Ivanovich, president of JSC Russian Railways, chairman of the board of trustees of the Public Foundation "Center for National Glory of Russia."
