On January 22, a training event was held, organized jointly with the State Agrarian the University of the Northern Trans-Ural Region (Tyumen) and the Tyumen Regional Scientific Library named after Dmitry Ivanovich Mendeleyev. The event was attended by more than 40 students and teachers of Gymnasium No. 93 in Tyumen, GAOU SPO TO "Tyumen Forestry Technical School" and GAOU SPO TO "Yalutorovskiy Agrarian College." The guests got acquainted with the structure of the library, its subdivisions, functional capabilities, provided services, the composition of the fund, and also learned about the events held by the library. A popular science lecture was given on the stages and results of the Battle of Stalingrad, the political situation preceded it, the military strategic decisions used in the battle, the tactics of both sides, and the outcome and significance of one of the decisive battles of the Great Patriotic War. The Tyumen Branch of the Presidential Library intends to continue its educational activities in close cooperation with the education system of the region and the Tyumen Regional Scientific Library named after Dmitry Ivanovich Mendeleyev .
