The album includes two photos: 1) Stela to the warrior soldiers before the restoration in 2005; 2) The restored stela to the soldiers-dodavtsam in 2013 The photos depict a monument-stele to the warrior-dodavtsam, installed at the intersection of Dovatortsev and South Bypass in the city of Stavropol. They were erected in honor of five hundred Stavropol horsemen defending Moscow in 1942 under the command of General Lev Dovator. The battle route of the famous cavalry corps passed to the Elbe, and the flag of the regiment, handed over during the formation in the city of Stavropol in 1941, was surrendered after the Victory to the Museum of Local Lore. Originally, the monument-stele was opened on May 8, 1975 at the intersection of Dovatortsev and Shpakovskaya streets. The authors of the project are the sculptor N. Sanzharov and the architect A. Saveliev. Stela in the form of three blades, symbolizing three cavalry regiments, for thirty years was one of the symbols of Stavropol. However, the wear of the multi-ton construction began to threaten the security of the citizens and in 2006 the monument was dismantled. The new stele is an exact copy of the previous one. In the restoration of the monument took part its author - Honored Artist of Russia Nikolai Sanzharov. The restored monument-stele to the soldiers-admirers was installed on January 20, 2012 at a new location - the intersection of Dovatortsev and South Bypass Stavropol streets
