Stepan Fyodorovich Aleshchenko was born on June 26, 1925 in the village Starotitarovskaya Temryuk district. He was drafted into the army at the age of 17. At the front, I ran an American tank in the 3rd Guards Mechanized Corps. On the American "Sherman" accomplished a feat - shot down a machine gun from the machine gun. Awarded the Order of Glory III degree. As part of the tank corps fought on the fronts of Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia. Miraculously got out of the burning tank in the battle of Koenigsberg. I met the victory in Germany. Was sent to war with Japan. After the victory he served in Ussuriisk for five years. In his native village returned in April 1950-th year. He worked as a tractor driver.
