On August 13, 2011, representatives of the Presidential Library arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to attend the General Conference and the Assembly of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). In 2011, the theme of the conference was "Libraries are greater than libraries: integration, innovation and information for all." The delegation was headed by AP Vershinin, General Director of the Presidential Library. He took part in the conference of directors of national libraries, which took place within the framework of the event, in the sections "Government libraries" and "Legal libraries". The specialists of the Presidential Library participated in the sections "Reference and Information Services", "Cataloging", "Updating and Development of Collections", "Information Technologies", "Classification and Indexing", as well as in the annual meeting of representatives of national libraries of CIS countries. The conference will end on August 18, 2011.
