Ivan Nesterovich Kostennikov, a native of the Ostrokhovo village of the Budyonovsky district of the Voronezh region, is a participant in the Great Patriotic War. Took part in the battles on the western bank of the Danube, southwest of Budapest, a participant in the breakthrough of defense and the defeat of the enemy's tank group near the town of Székesfehérvár. He was awarded with medals: "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945", "For the Taking of Vienna", "For the Taking of Budapest", "For Valor and Courage in the Great Patriotic War", and the Order of the Patriotic War. After the war, I. N. Kostennikov returned to his native village, where he worked on the collective farm Krasnaya Moskva, then on the collective farm. Kirov .
