June 22, 2011 in the Presidential Library. BN Yeltsin in the XIX International Music Festival "Palaces of St. Petersburg" held a memorial evening dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. For the evening veterans, blockade workers and workers of the rear were invited. Vocal-symphonic poem by Valery Gavrilin "Military Letters" performed by People's Artist of Russia Alexei Petrenko and mezzo-soprano Olesya Petrova was heard for the audience. The children's choir of television and radio of St. Petersburg and the Konstantinovsky Orchestra took part in the production under the direction of the honored artist of Russia Sergey Slovachevsky. The portal of the Presidential Library hosted a live broadcast of the concert. |
