From 25 to 27 November 2011, the First Forum "Art and Reality" was held at the Presidential Library named after Boris N. Yeltsin, initiated by the Peter Konchalovsky Foundation with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Leading art journalists, art critics and art critics of the world discussed the relationship of art criticism and contemporary art. For the first time on a broad international discussion, the media and art were interconnected. Within the framework of the forum, the exhibition "Unlimited" was presented. For the first time in a single artistic space in the halls of the Presidential Library, works of both traditional and modern art were presented, from paintings made with oil on canvas, sculptures, to video art. Within the framework of the conference, an international contest was held to obtain a prize for achievements in the field of coverage of problems of art criticism in the world of contemporary art. |
