On October 7, the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet took part in the XII annual visiting meeting of the heads of regional centers, which was organized by the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library.
As part of the scientific and practical conference on the preservation of cultural and historical heritage, an expert session "Evacuation from Leningrad during the Great Patriotic War" was held at the Mariinsky Palace, at which Professor of the Ballet Department of the Academy, Candidate of Art History L. I. Abyzova delivered a report "Leningrad Choreographic School in evacuation".
