Traditionally, on the first Sunday of August, this year - the 2nd, Russia celebrates the Day of the Railwayman - a professional holiday which honors employees of the railway industry. The Presidential Library’s portal contains a large number of rare materials devoted to the development of this type of transport in Russia - electronic copies of rare publications, historical documents, atlases and photographs, video lectures and documentaries on this topic.

April 6 and 8, 2021 the Birobidzhan Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Sholem Aleichem Birobidzhan Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted a historical game dedicated to the celebration of the 800th anniversary of the birth of the great commander and statesman of Russia Alexander Nevsky. The event was attended by pupils of the orphanage No. 2, a social rehabilitation center for minors and cadets of the Orthodox military-patriotic cadet center.

On April 2, 2021, the State Museum and Exhibition Centre ROSPHOTO (Saint-Petersburg) will launch the "Liberated Europe" exhibition project. It marks the 76th anniversary of the Great Victory. The liberation mission of the Red Army covered 11 European countries with a population of about 113 million people.

The Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library of the Administrative Department of the President of the Russian Federation will traditionally receive participants and guests of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which will be held from June 2-5, 2021.
