Until January 20, 2023, the Presidential Library accepts applications for participation in the first qualifying round of the Olympiad “Russia in the Electronic World” in the subject “Russia as a Foreign Language”. The competition takes place from October 3, 2022 until March 31, 2023. Foreign citizens, schoolchildren aged 14 and older, as well as college students, have an opportunity to test their knowledge.

The book by writer and historian Stanislav Goldfarb Sungorkin, or How Komsomolskaya Pravda was tempted is now available in electronic form on the Presidential Library portal. Everyone from any part of the world can read it. The publication was donated to the library by the editorial staff of the newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda, which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year.

Nikolay Nekrasov, known to modern readers as the "most peasant" poet in Russia, one of the first to speak about the tragedy of serfdom and the spiritual world of the Russian peasantry, was born on December 10, 1821. On March 3rd, 1613, an important event took place in Russia - the election of a new tsar of Moscow, Mikhail Fyodorovich Romanov, who came from an ancient family of Moscow nobles, known since the 14th century. He was the son of Patriarch Filaret, who was born as Fyodor Nikitich Romanov. The Romanov dynasty ruled Russia for over 300 years.
