On January 16, 1547, Grand Duke Ivan IV was solemnly coronated becoming famous all over the world by the nickname Grozny. The ceremony of his anointing to Russian reign took place in the Assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin. It was headed by the famous historical and religious figure - Metropolitan Macarius. The cross of the Life-giving Tree, as well as the barmas and the crown of Monomakh were laid on Ivan Vasilyevich.

The website of the project Libraries as Witnesses of the Great Victory, organized by the Rudomino Library for Foreign Literature, provides the story of Zinaida Arkadyevna Itkina, a resident of the besieged Leningrad. The materials for publication were provided by the Presidential Library, which became a participant of an international campaign that combined the national libraries of the CIS and SCO countries (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan).

The Literacy Center of the Gorky Ryazan Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted the opening of an exhibition of works by young craftswomen “Ryazanochki”. It features author's products made by students of the "Vyshevka" and "Kruzhevo" workshops of Children's Art School No. 1.
